first let me begin by saying that I'm loving that so many people are doing Renard in his hoodie instead of the lab-coat. it gives me a good view on all the different ways people go about drawing it.
Vision: The pose you have Renard in is both relaxed and confidant, aseptically with the tooth showing and the eyes glinting. You have also expressed good workmanship with the changing of the angles of this garment, taking particular note to how you laid the cross on the shoulder. The angle you have the subject facing is a difficult one to illustrate, and you did so with great skill.
Originality: Not much can be said for originality, only because this is fan-art. I do however, love how you arranged the tentacles in a way that hides them, but has them just enough in the foreground to justify shading them with a layer. you also provide a great insight into your style with the addition of the the streak-lines in the background.
Technique: you show promise, but this you could have done better on. the zipper pattern is nice and consistent through the whole garment, but the way you have the teeth illustrated shows minimal effort to garment detail. On that note, their is no seam line or wrinkle to indicate where the side ends and the arm begins, appearing to make the hoodie not have an armpit. I do love that you decided to shade everything from the pants down to the tooth, but you only used two layers for it. a third layer for shading would have been a good idea to depict a difference between facing towards light, perpendicular to light, and facing away from light. Other than that, your angles all look nice and deliberate, nothing seems disproportional and the bands on the tentacles look like they line up nicely.
Impact: as I said: this image speaks a relaxed power. the arm behind the head is the relaxed nature and the clenched fist is the power. it goes along nicely with how well the real artiest makes amazing and powerful music. The outfit fits Renard perfectly in the way you drew it and although you neglected the red in-liner and kangaroo pouch, those are easily overlooked by the overall power of the image itself.
